Character Creation & Ownership​

How do I create a character?​

Characters require five elements: name, tagline, description, greeting, and definition within specific limits. All details in Character Elements and Minting Process.

What are the starting limits for new characters?​

All characters begin with identical base stats across 8 categories including content limits and performance capabilities. See Character Elements for complete specifications.

Can I modify my character after minting?​

Yes, you can update character content within current limits and expand those limits through training. Details in Character Elements.

How many characters can I own?​

No ownership limits. Create through minting, breeding, or marketplace purchases.

Character Development​

How does training work?​

Training randomly improves one of 8 character stats using CHATOPIA tokens. Cannot choose which stat improves. Complete mechanics in Training Overview.

What does breeding do?​

Breeding combines two characters to create offspring with averaged parental stats. Each character can breed 5 times total. Full details in Breeding Mechanics.

Do parent characters change after breeding?​

No, parents remain unchanged. Only new offspring created with inherited capabilities.

Economics & Earning​

How do I earn from my characters?​

Revenue sharing from user interactions through advertising and subscriptions. Better character capabilities attract more users. See Token Utility for economics.

What do I need CHATOPIA tokens for?​

How do I get CHATOPIA tokens?​

Can I sell my characters?​

What determines character value?​

Training investment, proven user engagement, stat capabilities, and market demand. Performance-based pricing rather than speculation.

Are marketplace transactions safe?​

Which blockchain will Chatopia use?​

Network selection will be announced before Q3 2025 testnet based on security, cost, and user experience factors.

What wallet do I need?​

Are my characters safe on the blockchain?​

Will there be usage limits at launch?​

During initial launch phases, concurrent user limits and potentially free message limits will be relaxed to encourage adoption and platform testing. Normal operational limits implemented as platform scales.

Can I prepare before launch?​
